Holiday Gift Guides
It's that time of year where all the influencers are releasing their holiday gift guides. All the while those links are all to amazon products or big box store sites. I can appreciate that the sharers are making a commission off of those links and purchases and I definitely appreciate the ease and convenience of 1 click shopping. However, I’d really like to encourage everyone to try to add some personal touch to your gifts this year by shopping small. I’m not saying to shop small for every single purchase this holiday season, but even those small add on gifts make a huge difference for small businesses. Not to mention, it adds an elevated and personal element to your gifts. So here I am to share with you my “not so influencer gift guides” for this Christmas season. Here we go.
First up, because its usually the first people we buy for, the kiddos.
Paint by number kits. We have a few options including mermaids, outer space and more.
Book & Toy Sets. Some popular titles are Drama Llama, The Hungry Caterpillar and The Crayons.
Tooth fairy door hanger. The tooth fairy is getting smarter to not wake the kiddos up trying to swap out the tooth for money. This is a great addition for a stocking!
Next, lets get the teachers taken care of. Some teachers may love cups, but I have talked to enough teachers who beg to not have any more cups. So here are some fresh ideas that any teacher will love!
Cute sticky notes. Teachers have a lot to remember and I’ve never seen a teacher’s desk that isn’t covered in sticky notes, why not have cute sticky notes?
Journal of Joy. If anyone has a lot to unload at the end of the day, its teachers. This 3 minutes a day record for 3 years is sure to bring any teacher joy.
Floral mouse pad. Just like the sticky notes, why not make a teacher’s desk cuter?

Let’s switch gears to the ladies in your life; moms, grandmas and wives. (Ladies, feel free to copy and paste this on over to the party responsible for your gifts this year.)

Woah, that was a lot. Hopefully you found something in there for someone on your list. Making purchases from small businesses, especially those in your community is so important and I hope you get the chance to do so this holiday season. Making purchases from small businesses is appreciated more than you know, so make a small business owners day and shop small.
